ENDURO WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP PREVIEW FIFTH-SIXTH ROUND ROMANIA – GREECE JUNE 11th 2013

HM-HONDA ZANARDO TEAM AND ALEX SALVINI READY FOR THE GPs OF ROMANIA AND GREECE

After the good third round of the Enduro Italian Championship, in which Alex
Salvini won the Overall Classification and E2 Class increasing his leadership in
the standing, this weekend HM-Honda Zanardo Team is ready to face the double
round of the World Championship with the GPs of Romania and Greece.
Both races are very important and particularly felt for the Team of Franco Mayr
and Sandro Tramelli.
From Piacenza, the team will move to Buzau, in Romania, where on June 15th
-16th
will take place the race, and then the paddock will move to Greece, for the sixth
race of the season, in the town of Kastroria, about two hundred kilometers in the
north of Thessaloniki.
At this point of the championship these two Grand Prix are an important step for
the conquest of the world titles, before the seventh and final round scheduled on
September 7th-8 th to Saint Flour, in France.
Now HM-Honda Zanardo Team will arrives to Buzau, well known in the off road
world because the Enduro World Championship raced here in 2011 too.

ALEX SALVINI #9
“My feeling in the previous four races were positive and now I’m at the top of the
standing. We did a great job preparing specific setting: we are always competitive
and even more performing in any condition, wet or dry. It was not easy, but with
Tullio Pellegrinelli and the technicians, race after race we got great results and the
leadership of E2 class. I always had an extraordinary feeling with my HM-Honda
CRE F450R, recording the best time in each competition. Last week I intensified
even more my psycho-physical preparation, working in a specific way to be even
more aggressive and fast. It will be important to focus on the race from the start in
order to be fast and have a good race. I want a good competition not only for me,
but also for the team and Honda Europe. These GPs are very important because
remember us Mika Ahola, who two years ago was great protagonist of E3”.

SIMONE ALBERGONI #50
“I’m really looking forward to this two weekend in Romania and Greece, because I
will try to redeem my unlucky performances of the season. I’m working a lot to
prepare these two races. We are ready but these two GPs will be really challenging.
It will be really hard, but I think that we can do well. I will give my 110% to get on the
podium”.

TULLIO PELLEGRINELLI
“For the races in Romania and in Greece we had the chance to test specific
products, suspensions, electronics and we already have an idea of the set-up that
we will use. For sure it will be very hot and this could be a variant for us, because
when we tried in Italy the temperatures were lower. However, we have done a good
job in these tests, both with Salvini and with Albergoni, and we collected a lot of
information. We hope to race at the top. One more reason to do well is the
presence of many fans and supporters. We hope to bring back home special
results”.
